This free-range hunt, with no size limit, offers passionate hunters the chance to stalk majestic stags during the most vocal and dramatic time of the year. 

Set in remote and wild landscapes, the hunt is as authentic as it gets. Accommodation is provided in carefully selected, charming hotels or lodges, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. The hunt takes place in mountainous terrain - perfect for those who enjoy spot-and-stalk hunting in natural, scenic environments.

Pyrenees and Vercors mountain ranges – both known for wild beauty and strong Red Deer populations.

HUNTING Season

Mid-September to early October – during the rut.

Accomodation

Comfortable hotels or hunting lodges, ideally located in beautiful surroundings. Full board with excellent French cuisine.

Guiding

1 hunter x 1 professional guide. English-speaking member of the Club Faune team.
