European Mouflon
Latin name : Ovis ammon musimon
Ovis ammon musimon, or the European mouflon, is a species of wild sheep native to the Mediterranean islands, introduced into several European hunting reserves.
Adult males are distinguished by their impressive spiral horns, while females are smaller and lack well-developed horns. They have a reddish-brown coat with white markings and weigh between 30 and 50 kg. In hunting reserves, mouflons often live in social groups led by a dominant male.
